Poplar Decorating was born out of a love for making home surroundings beautiful and livable.

Our founder, Rose Rocklein, spent many years of her life moving and most often occupied herself studying and enhancing her various esthetic surroundings while balancing careers in law, sales, and being a military wife. After nearly two decades of moving, purchasing, renovating, decorating then renovating some more on her many family homes and those of her friends, she turned her long-held dream of owning her own decorating firm into a reality. She has enjoyed working on dozens of projects both large and small, with the end goal always being that sweet spot of happiness in the finished space. We all have our mark to leave on this world, even in the smallest way, and this is truly hers.
